“So, on Saturday, August 18th 2013, my entire life was changed. I watched The FP. My mind was blown by how amazing this movie is, and it inspired me. It inspired me so much I decided to make a quick card game out of it! Currently I have a set of the cards being printed up and sent to me to use as a trial/demo game. If it plays alright and people enjoy it/like the style, I’m going to expand it out to a 100-200 card game, with more variety to how it plays, bringing it on-par to boxed games people buy. My intentions are to post all of the files for free online for now, and hopefully get the people who made the film to see it, and hopefully they enjoy it! Maybe they’ll print a set out and play it too. For me, this is my dedication to The FP.

Each player keeps a hand of 5 characters. An arena is drawn, each player places one character from their hand face down, or in the case of a special Beat-Beat Revelation arena, multiple characters are placed face down. The team with the highest combined rank wins. Discard characters when the Beat-Beat Revelation match is finished, and draw up to 5 cards again from the character deck. When you win an arena, draw an item card, and place the Beat-Beat Revelation arena in front of you face-down.
Items give a bonus to the stat they have pictured, unless it is The Helmet. The Helmet allows you to instantly win that arena. You may use one item you have won per arena. Once an item is used, discard it in the item stack.
The Protomen character card always wins. In the case of two The Protomen, the player who can get their beat stat the highest wins, more than 1 item is allowed in the arena in this case. Playing The Helmet on The Protomen also breaks a tie. If both players use The Helmet, it is back to the beat stat for winner.
First to claim 7 BBR matches wins.
(Note – The Protomen cards are an inside joke amongst my friends and I from when we watched the movie. They are being removed from the final version and being replaced with things relevant to the movie.)
The character cards you need to print two of. There are two backs for them because of this. They are the backs with arrows. The FP back with the blue logo is for the Beat Beat Revelation Arena cards, and the artsy stylized back is for the item cards. Enjoy!
