From Star Wars Geek’s Custom Supply Store:

“It’s a yearly tradition for most retailers to have massive blowout sales for “Black Friday”, and this year I’ll be joining that tradition! But I’m going to be starting my sale TODAY and running it thru the weekend! I’m actually going to run several different sales, and you can pick which offer you’d like to participate in.

Sale #1 – A special BOGO sale – you can get 1 item of the same type/scale FREE for every item that you purchase. If you purchase 4 – 1:18 heads, you can pick 4 – 1:18 heads for FREE! If you purchase a helmet, you can get a FREE helmet. However, I’m going to be very specific about this – the FREE item MUST be the same type/scale as the item you purchase. So you can’t buy 6 heads and ask for 6 free helmets. You CAN buy 3 heads and get 3 FREE and buy 3 helmets and get 3 FREE but the items MUST be the same type/scale. Not the same exact item, just the same type. You also can’t mix scales and purchase 1:12 heads and ask for 1:18 heads for free. Sorry. All items under $10 are eligible for this sale.

Sale #2 – A special bundle sale – pick any 10 heads, 5 helmets, and 5 weapons, for just $20 plus shipping. That’s just $1 per item! PLUS I’ll throw in a FREE pouch set ($6 value) with every bundle. So that’s $66 worth of items for just $20 (plus shipping)!

Sale #3 – a pack of 50 RANDOM head casts for just $25 plus shipping. That’s just $.50 per head!! You can’t beat THAT! Remember though – they are RANDOM which means you can’t pick and choose which items you want.

Shipping charges are as follows:
$3 USA
$10 International

This sale starts NOW and runs through Sunday. All orders must be sent via message to me here at the forum. DO NOT ORDER AT MY WEBSTORE OR EBAY STORE. All orders MUST be placed by Sunday (11.30.14) at 11:59PM EST. Any messages after that time will be discarded. All payments must be made by Monday (12.1.14) at 11:59PM EST. Any payments made after that cutoff will be refunded.

One thing I wanted to say as well – I’m *hoping* for some good activity with this sale, and I’ll be posting it to a bunch of message boards and various places to whore it out as much as I can. While I do try to keep a good stock of items on hand, I have to point out that I probably have about 10 -12 of most items on average. Obviously, anything that sells out can be remade, but it will take a week or so to get more stock made. So, the earlier you order, the better I can be sure to fill your order before items start to sell out. If you order items that are not available, I will let you know.

That’s about it for today. Hopefully, some of you can take advantage of some of these offers. Here’s the links you’ll need to keep tabs on everything:

From the workshop of Letal:

“Not exactly a new custom … I had to repaint it due to the bad habit I had of using enamel paints in my early days of customizing.

I repainted everything but the shirt and used a new head. I know it is impossible to dissociate it from Bruce Willis, but since in my joeverse Joe Colton is a bearded fellow I really don’t mind and think it fits the original figure.”

From the workshop of Majesty_77:

“I wanted to share this custom made scarlet I did back in April 2014. I have not taken pics of other figures Iv’e made, due to time. I made this Ultimate figure to show Hasbro that a Ultimate scarlet can be made. Since There was a ultimate duke and ultimate flint, I was looking around for some ultimate female figures so I made one and went with the military green.Instead of her original colors.

Made some custom weapons bow n arrow and backpack with sculpted eagle sign. Let me know what you think?”

From the workshop of ian:

“As a young Canadian born in the 70s, GI Joe was the only toy that I played with for many years. Funny thing, we had Canadian versions of the file cards “adapted” to have some characters born up North. For instance, on the Canadian file card, Grunt was born in Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

But, to my knowledge, Back-Stop is the only “official” Canadian born character.

Here’s my version of that crazy canuck hockey player.”

From the workshop of Pugsley:

“When I first saw the 2011 International G.I.Joe Convention exclusive Mission Brazil II Wet-Suit, I thought it was one of the greatest modern Joe figures yet, but there’s no way I could afford one, so I made my own. He’s modernized a bit. Instead of the classic woodland camo, he has the modern Navy Work Uniform Type 3 camo, which I hand painted! I also gave him a working holster. It’s one of my sculpts available from Raginspoon.”

From the workshop of ian:

“After Fast Draw, here’s the last of the carded figure of ’87. Sneek Peak was probably the only carded figures from that year that i never played with, he had this huge green periscope tower that was kind of silly carrying around. I tried here to give him a more “mobile” gear with the helmet cam and the drone. The colors are much darker, that light grey and bright red didn’t really worked IMHO.”

From the desk of Krisk:

– Each Game series will consist of 1-5 Rounds, each Round will last 4-8 days.
– Each game will be played by even/close matched teams. If one team has a larger force, drones will be used to even the odds. Players may chose to switch teams to help even out the teams.
– Each team can have 1-4 leaders, but each team must have equal leadership. Leadership will be determined by amount of players per team.
– Leaders will earn one point per round extra for leadership role, if they participate by posting in the game with leadership post. Posts should be in format of: GI Joe Strike(ooee OPS) Leader Hurt Cobra Trooper -6.
– Players will earn 3 points per round, that they complete. Make a post for each day of play in the game thread.

It would be nice to get a game launched in here before mid-December or even do a mini-game next week…fewer targets than normal round.

SP gave me a pretty nice PIF. Well, two can play that game…

Here’s what I have coming up:

1.) 25th Chuckles as you see him…

2.) A desert Marauder Kickstarter figure, as he comes (which SHOULD be what you see in the pic)…

3.) The last one will be 2003 Spy Troops Gung-Ho and Zarana as you see them.

Okay, here’s my PIF:

As soon as we cross the 41,000 post threshold, the first person to post the TEXT from Luke 10:25-37 will score their choice of the above prizes; 1, 2 or 3.

After Luke has been posted, the next person who posts the TEXT from Matthew 25:31-40 can lay claim to one of the two remaining prizes.

As always, we appreciate when the winners continue in the Pay it Forward spirit and put up their own PIF.

Get to da choppa!!!

OG13 Santa’s Sack 2014! hosted by ska_lives

So its that time of year again, and I figure that I will assist and get the jump on things! With that being said welcome to…

If you are interested in participating post in this thread through the 14th. At that time I will roll the dice and low-tech pair up the participants.Be sure to post the items you are hoping for in the other thread, and maybe you’ll get a big ol’ sticky surprise from Santa’s sack!Participants are allowed to spend whatever they deem fair to them, however it is suggested that a minimum of $10 is spent on your lucky sackee. I mean, its the average price of most of the figures that we all collect, with a few exceptions, so why not eh?Addendum: Don’t send out broken stuff. No one wants that.Anywho, post up and we’ll make sure us OG’ers give Christmas a big ass load of spirit all over the place!click to enter
