Customizer extraordinaire, Crimson Gord, brings his latest theme to the table, and a little bias may be in order!
I’ve been on a theme kick for the past little while, and this is my latest concept. I present to you, the first installment of an OG13 inspired Cobra sub-group, the Viper Corps.

I don’t know if you guys ever watched the Super Hero Squad cartoon, but I did with my daughters and thought it was great. Well, the show ended a while back and I had this goofy idea to spoof it, so here is the Super Hero Squad: Junior Varsity!

In the beginning there was the Presence. We do not know where the Presence came from, or even what it is, it merely exists. The Presence is the creator and cause of the Big Bang and everything in the multi-verse, Gods, aliens, humans, creation itself.
Certain aspects of his being were split into three. His wrath, Galid , who would later become Elipso, his mercy, Radiant, and his vengeance, which would eventually become The Spectre.
The first form of the Spectre was early in the universe, three seconds after creation, a rebellion occurred, started by Lucifer. Those that rebelled were cast down, becoming demons, but one returned, Aztar. He came to the one some humans would call, Michael.
Aztar begged for forgiveness, willing to accept any punishment the Presence seen fit. The Presence chose Aztar to be merged with his divine wrath, becoming a vessel, but the cost would mean everything he was would be burned clean, his memories, his personality, he would be little more than a shell. Aztar accepted, if albeit regrettably, thus the Spectre-force was born.
The true reason the Presence did this was because he foresaw Galid becoming untrustworthy. In contrast to Galid, the Proto-Spectre as we shall call him, worked more as a spirit of vengeance, being more discerning in whom was punished, whereas Galid was pure destruction.

Shinra24 has posted an overview of the G.I. Joe related news coming out of the New York Toy Fair.
– G.I. Joe Kre-O:
– 9 building sets, and 28 Kreons to collect.
– Wave 2 will see Blowtorch, Dr. Mindbender, BAT, Flash, Major Bludd, Eel, Snowjob, Slice, Ripper, Tunnel Rat, Mutt and Junkyard.
Arashikage Dojo with Baroness, Destro, and Cobra Hiss. Snake-Eyes, Timber. Destro will have vac-metal head
G.I.Joe Toys.
Most the GIjoe being shown is the stuff we’ve already seen but was delayed because the movie was delayed while being converted in 3D.
Firefly Ninja Duel which they say is the best version they have ever done from wave 2 will be coming back out.
– Wave 3 – Ultimate Filint and Roadblock are coming. Also new will be Budo Samurai Warrior, Ultimate Storm Shadow based on the vintage. Ultimate Cobra Commander with hood and silver mask. Also Data Viper and Kwinn coming out in May.
– Wave 4 will include figures that were hard to find the first time around from the Retaliation line.
– New vehicle with Night Landing Raft with Cobra Eel and new Tomahawk with Lifticket rebuilt. Extra row of seats and helicopter blades fold in. Due out in Fall. New cockpit to fit modern figures. Cost $40

“Motor Commandos are the enemies fast attack specialists. These expert combat drivers serve as mounted scouts and outriders for convoys and armored columns, and often act as quick reactionary forces. Motor Commandos are trained to operate all tactical ATVs but favor the Strike Cycle for its speed, maneuverability, and armament. The Strike Cycle is a two man, 6 speed, three wheeled assault trike; equipped with twin independent double barrel 20mm auto cannons and a rear mounted 7.62 mini gun which is most often manned by a tactical communications officer. The Strike cycle can reach speeds of 120mph and has a range of approximately 300 miles. Every Motor Commando is an expert infantryman, and a motor cross legend in their own mind. Motor Commandos wear an armored temperature regulated crash suit. Their helmets boast an advance filtration system, and a holographic/fiber-optic heads up display which integrates and updates all battlefield conditions via a state of the art “threat handover system”. “
As many have commented on, our good friend from Mexico (and incredible dio-maker), serpiente blanca, has been missing in action for quite a while. When this usually happens, we tell each other, I hope that nothing happened, and then we carry on until our buddy returns to tell us he was busy at work, or lost his Internet connection, or something else of non-consequential nature.
Sadly, this is one of those times where something did happen. While walking across the road, serpiente blanca was struck by a car that ran a red light. The crash put him into a coma for some time, but ultimately blessed him with the gift of SURVIVAL. We know that our brothers are strong, and he is one of the strongest.
Post-coma, he is still facing adversity, as the accident left him confined to a wheelchair (not-permanently). If you would be so kind, please take a moment to share a well-wish for him, say a prayer for him (if you are of the faith), and keep him in your mind. Life is terribly cruel. Let’s remind our brother that we are here for him.

OG13 would like to salute “American Sniper” Chris Kyle (1974-2013)
Kyle was murdered February 2, 2013 while at a shooting range in Erath County Texas. Kyle was helping out at a chartity event teaching veterans suffering from PTSD shooting techniques.
SEAL Team 3 Chief Chris Kyle served four combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and elsewhere. For his bravery in battle, he was awarded two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation. Additionally, he received the Grateful Nation Award, given by the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. Following his combat deployments, he became chief instructor for training Naval Special Warfare Sniper and Counter-Sniper teams, and he authored the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Doctrine, the first Navy SEAL sniper manual.
For all his success, friends and fellow veterans described Mr. Kyle as a humble warrior, and down-to-earth family man, who loved his wife and two children. In gatherings with other veterans, he would deflect the praise of the inevitable well-wishers and play up the achievements of his comrades.

In 2011, Mr. Kyle created the [FITCO Cares Foundation] to provide veterans with exercise equipment and counseling. He believed that exercise and the camaraderie of fellow veterans could help former soldiers ease into civilian life.
