They are very rubbery, and include hard-plastic discs for stands (though they’re not really needed since the figures are very well balanced. Only problem I really see with them is the lack of completed paint-apps on some of them.”

Robotech has been in development at Warner Bros. for seven years and it finally looks to get underway with NicMathieu on as director.
The announcement of a Robotech movie comes at an interesting time as another mechmovie is coming from Warner Bros. with Pacific Rim by Guillermo Del Toro. In Pacific Rim, mankind is under siege by giant monsters known as theKaiju, with humanity building gigantic robots in response, the Jaegers, to defend themselves. Previous reports seemed to indicate that Warner Bros. was extremely excited and happy about Pacific Rim, which may have opened the door forRobotech.

Our very own mister-x has reported that the Wave 2 figures that were expected to hit Dollar General, are now showing up at Marshall’s discount department stores in Indiana. Even though he missed Storm Shadow and Shipwreck, he was able to buy the others at the price point of $4.99!!
